AMB Gems FZCO (hereinafter referred to as “AMB Gems,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is the owner and operator of the website located at www.ambgems.com (referred to as the “Website”).

AMB Gems FZCO has its registered offices at 2008, Building 2, Gold and Diamond Park, Dubai, PO Box 117973, United Arab Emirates. Our VAT number is [100053195200003].

By accessing and using the Website, you expressly consent to the terms and conditions set forth on this page, which are effective as of the date and time of your use or access of the Website (referred to as the “Terms”). We kindly request you to carefully read and review these Terms before accessing or using the information and services available through the Website. Please note that the Conditions of Sale apply to any purchases of AMB Gems products or services that you may make through the website www.ambgems.ae or any associated mobile or digital applications referring to these Conditions of Sale (collectively referred to as the “Platforms”) or by telephone through our client relations center (referred to as the “Client Relations Center”).

These Conditions of Sale are applicable to any orders placed through the Platforms or the Client Relations Center (together referred to as the “Sales Channels”). It is important to understand that prior to placing an order for products or services, you will be required to agree to these Conditions of Sale. If you do not agree to these Conditions of Sale, you will not be able to place orders for any products or services through the Sales Channels. Please be aware that purchases made through physical retail locations (such as our boutiques) or third-party authorized retailers are not subject to these Conditions of Sale.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between “you” (the user of this Website) and AMB Gems. If you do not agree to or are unable to comply with the Terms, we kindly ask you to refrain from using this Website.

These Terms may be subject to modifications from time to time without prior notice, and it is your responsibility to regularly review these Terms for any such modifications. If you do not agree to any changes made to the Terms, you must immediately cease using the Website.

REGISTRATION

2.1. To access certain services or features on the Website, you will be required to register. During the registration process, it is essential that you provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information about yourself. If any of your registration information changes, please promptly notify us by emailing us at cara@emirates.net.ae. We reserve the right to modify registration requirements as needed.

2.2. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account password. In the event of a security breach or unauthorized use of your account, you must immediately notify us. While we are not liable for any losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account, you may be held responsible for losses incurred by us or others due to such unauthorized use.

PURCHASING ELIGIBILITY

3.1. Only individuals (and not legal entities) who meet the following criteria are eligible to order products through the Sales Channels: (a) having reached the legal age of majority required to enter into contracts; (b) having the legal capacity to enter into contracts; and (c) using a shipping address within the country or countries specified by the Sales Channels. If you do not meet the legal age of majority or are otherwise unable to lawfully enter into a contract, you must have a parent or guardian place an order on your behalf, and they must agree to these Conditions of Sale.

3.2. By placing an order through the Sales Channels, you represent and warrant that you are an authentic end-user customer making purchases for personal use, either for yourself or another person, and that you will not resell, distribute, or purchase our products or services for commercial purposes.

3.3. In order to complete purchases on the Website, you will need to provide your personal information, including your real name, phone number, email address, and other requested details as indicated. Additionally, you must provide accurate and valid payment information and confirm that you are the person named in the billing information provided.

PERSONALIZED SERVICES

5.1. Personalization services, such as engraving or embossing, may be available for select products. If you wish to personalize a product, please provide the required details through the Sales Channels as requested.

5.2. We reserve the right to refuse orders for personalized products or those with message cards that contain objectionable, unlawful, or policy-violating language. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any personalized product details you provide.

5.3. Orders for personalized products cannot be canceled, and such products, once personalized or custom-made to your specifications, cannot be returned for exchange or refund in accordance with these Conditions of Sale. This does not affect your consumer rights (please refer to the Manufacturer’s guarantee and your legal consumer rights section for further information).

DIAMOND CERTIFICATES

When you order a loose diamond, it will be shipped to you with an accompanying diamond grading report, also known as a diamond certificate. These reports are comprehensive documents created by expert diamond graders at reputable diamond laboratories, and they are costly to replace. Therefore, we require the inclusion of the diamond grading report when returning a diamond. Failure to include the diamond grading report with your return will result in a replacement fee of US$150 (or an equivalent amount in other currencies).

ORDER PROCESS

6.1. The order process through the Platforms involves the following steps:

Add to Shopping Bag: After selecting a product, you can place it in your shopping bag. You may continue shopping for additional products and add them to your shopping bag, subject to availability and quantity limits. Placing an item in your shopping bag does not guarantee availability for purchase; confirmation of availability is provided upon receipt of a written Confirmation of Order & Shipment.

Guest/My Account Checkout: When ready, proceed to “Checkout” either as a guest or by using your registered account. During the checkout process, you may remove selected products from your shopping bag if needed.

Delivery, Review, and Payment: As part of the checkout process, you will input and review your order details and personal information, including email, shipping address, billing address, and payment details. Carefully review and confirm all details on the order summary page before placing your order.

Placing of Order: After reviewing, check the relevant box and place your order.

For orders placed through the Cara Customer Care Department, the process includes:

Shopping for Product: A Cara Jewellers Cara Sales Expert will assist you in selecting your product(s), confirm their availability, and establish quantity limits.

Placing and Confirming Order: When ready, the Cara Jewellers Cara Sales Expert will place your order, input your personal information (including name, email, phone number, and shipping address), and review the details with you. Placing an order does not guarantee availability for purchase; confirmation occurs upon payment and receipt of a written Confirmation of Order & Shipment.

Payment, Review, and Delivery: After the order is placed, you will receive an email containing your order details, including:

  • Products ordered with descriptions
  • Price inclusive of VAT
  • Shipping Costs (if any)
  • Total order value
  • Link to a secure payment gateway for payment completion
